Annual Report
It is a delightful moment for me to present the Annual Report of Vidhya Niketan School for the academic year 2019. “Develop a passion for learning, if you do, you will never cease to Grow” This academic year has been a very eventful one for us. We have made great efforts to transform ourselves to CBSE curriculum for classes 1 to 5 and have become extremely successful as Vidhya Niketan has always been committed to set standards and goals for herself and strive to achieve them. Education is the passport to future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.
VINAYAGAR PRATHIKSHTA
Ganesha installation in our campus was a longtime dream of Rajini mam and Vidhya Niketan Team. We are blessed to have Lord Ganapathi ensconced in our campus in the month of June. Yoga is essential to enhance the mental and physical well being of all. INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY (21st June) was marked with the participation of students to promote “SOUND BODY AND SOUND MIND” principle. “Remembering Our Former CM Kamarajar” Competitions like Quiz, Skit and painting based on the life of Kamarajar were conducted on Kamarajar day.
“SAVE ENVIRONMENT” – A poster making competition announced by Tamil Nadu Govt saw many participants coming forward which was a welcoming change among students. “As a tribute to our soldiers on Kargil Vijay Diwas “Various competitions were organized saluting and respecting the brave heroes of Kargil. Festivals like Pongal, Krishna Jayanthi and Vinayaga Chathurthi were celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm. Happy to mention that for the First time we organized a ‘Sathsang’ in the Ganesha temple premises on Krishna Jayanthi day. State festivals like Onam and Diwali also illed everyone’s mind with cheer, happiness and unity.
Teacher’s day as always was a celebration of warmth and strong bond between teachers and students. This year celebration of Dussehra festival was very unique and special with the opening of our Vidhya Niketan Play School. The bundles of joyful activities for the Pre‐Kg are uniquely woven to enhance the gross motor skills of the tiny ones. It is noteworthy to mention that personal care and precision of Rajini mam, Nanditha mam and KG coordinator Pooja has gone into the designing of the Pre‐Kg Classroom and play area. The 150th Birthday of Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated without missing the elements of Gandhian principles in the right spirit.

Children’s Day was made special by a unique talk by Dr. Navaneeth who is a very talented and Young Public Speaker.
